Veterinarians MICHAEL EATON BVSc (Hons), PHD, MRCVS Michael graduated from Sydney University with 1st Class honors in 1982. He then went to England to work for 2 years before returning home to work on Sydney's Northern Beaches. In 1992 he opened St Ives Veterinary Surgery. Michael is a member of the Australian Veterinary Association and completed a PhD in excercise physiology at Sydney University in 1996. In his free time, Michael enjoys camping, and spending time with his family and his Cavalier King Charles Fibi and Tilly a Burmese. |
ZANE HSU BVSc (Hons), MRCVS Zane graduated from Sydney University in 2002 with 1st Class honours and spent his first 3 years working in small animal practices in West Ryde and North Turramurra. In 2006, he headed to the UK and spent the year locuming at various practices in and around London. Returning to Sydney in early 2007, Zane started working at St Ives Veterinary Surgery. Zane has proven to be a great all rounder, with comprehensive medical and surgical skills, and is popular with the clients and their pets. Zane has 3 cats and 2 dogs and enjoys listening to and playing music in his spare time. |
SALLY TILLEY BVsc, DipClinVetStud Sally graduated from Sydney University in 2000. In 2001 she completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Sydney University, Camden, working with their specialists. She then moved to the Veterinary Specialist Centre at North Ryde where she worked in the critical care and emergency department. Sally has been with St Ives Veterinary Surgery since 2002 and although she loves consulting, she thrives on the surgical cases. When not in the operating theatre, Sally has her hands full looking after her son Robert and also a lively Fox Terrier, Dixie and her ginger cats Basil and Rocket. |
VANESSA REID BVSc (Hons) Vanessa graduated from Sydney University in 1999 with 1st Class honours and completed additional studies in the USA. Vanessa has been part of the team since 2003 and has a keen interest in pathology and complex medical cases including our increasing geriatric load. She is the proud mother of two beautiful children named Annaliese and Joseph and Mawi, a cheeky Cornish Rex cat. Vanessa regularly sings at her church and performs in an acapella singing group. |
ALISON BUDGE BVSc Alison works part-time at the surgery and brings a wealth of experience to the practice. She graduated from Sydney University in 1993 and has worked extensively in Sydney, the Blue Mountains and in England. The medical and surgical skills that Alison has attained with her overseas appointments have been a great asset to the practice. Alison enjoys working on medical cases and has a particular interest in hormonal diseases. In her spare time, she enjoys watching foreign films, travelling and making |

FARRAH SEETO Farrah has been at St Ives Veterinary Surgery since 2000. She has completed her veterinary nursing certificate and has also completed a Certificate in Practice Management. Farrah enjoys horse riding, cooking, and quilt making. She owns Elmo, a Griffon Bruxellois, as well as Boags, a ginger cat she rescued as a stray called Boags and also some colourful marine fish (yes, they have names too). | SARAH SCHEUBER Sarah has been at St Ives Veterinary Surgery since 2001 and has completed her veterinary nursing certificate. You will often see her smiling face at reception. Sarah owns a boisterous Kelpie cross named Daisy that she rescued from the pound as well as 2 rabbits, Moo and Stewie. |
BROOKE CAMPBELL Brooke joined the practice in early 2009 and has had a long career in caring for animals of many types. Brooke has managed an equestrian centre where she was responsible for the welfare of over 30 horses and also keeping their owners happy. Brooke also has competed in showjumping as a member of the Australian Young Rider Team and continues to showjump on the domestic circuit. She brings a big smile and lots of enthusiasm to the veterinary practice. | CARLI KOONIN Carli has been with the practice since mid-2009 and is currently doing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at TAFE. She is extremely keen and passionate about working with animails and is looking forward to pursuing these interests further. When not at work, Carli is kept busy looking after and caring for her 4 dogs at home. |
SEUNG HEE WOO Seung Hee is currently in her 3rd year of Veterinary Science at Sydney University and when not studying, she is working at the surgery on the weekends. Seung Hee joined the practice in mid-2009 and is enjoying the challenges of working with animals and learning new skills. | |
