Pet Insurance
According to a recent Money magazine article, two out of three pets need veterinary attention each year and 66 percent of these visits are caused by sudden illnesses.
Each year we are seeing more clients choosing to take out pet insurance and whether your pet is sick or injured, the cost of treating your pet can be expensive. Pet insurance offers you the security of being able to provide the best level of care for your family member, without having to worry about the cost of their veterinary treatment.
Pet insurance is similar to human health insurance with most pet insurance companies having a range of policies which can help recover the cost of most accidents and illnesses, and even some routine procedures. Each policy is different and we recommend that you evaluate each policy carefully as some will have exclusions, such as payment for treatment of tick paralysis or snake bite.
Once you are ready to make a claim, all you need to do is fill out your details on the form provided by your insurance company, leave it at our reception and one of our vets will complete the claim and post it off for you too.
St Ives Veterinary Surgery highly recommends pet insurance to ensure that your family member can always have the optimal level of treatment and most importantly, a longer and healthier life.
