Sally Tilley
Veterinarian & Practice Owner (BVsc, DipClinVetStud)
Sally graduated from Sydney University in 2000. In 2001 she completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Sydney University, Camden working with their specialists. Sally has been with St Ives Veterinary Hospital since 2002, and in 2023 took over ownership of the practice from Michael Eaton. Sally has a keen interest in surgery, ophthalmology and heart disease. Sally is a member of the Australian Veterinary Association. When not at the clinic, Sally has her hands full looking after her family and her 2 cats Herb and Tripod (yes he has 3 legs) and her dogs Taylor and Bonnie.

Michael graduated from Sydney University with 1st Class honours in 1982. He then went to England to work for 2 years before returning home to work on Sydney's Northern Beaches. In 1992 he opened St Ives Veterinary Hospital. Michael is a member of the Australian Veterinary Association and completed a PhD in exercise physiology at Sydney University in 1996. In 2023 Michael sold the practice to long time employee Sally Tilley and moved to a part time role. In his free time, Michael enjoys camping, spending time with his family and is the owner of Maisi a Cavalier King Charles and Lilli, a Burmese.

Vanessa graduated from Sydney University in 1999 with first class honours and has completed additional studies in the USA. Vanessa has been part of the team since 2003 and has a keen interest in pathology, complex medical cases and animal behaviour. She is an AQIS accredited vet, so is able to help with exporting your pet if you move overseas. In her spare time, Vanessa enjoys swimming, walking her cheeky Poodle cross called Bruce and driving her kids around to sporting activities. Vanessa has also completed post graduate studies and attained membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Veterinary Behaviour, and is available for private behavioural consultations through her behaviour service called Positive Pets Behaviour Vet. Her love for animals and medicine saw her return to university to study Veterinary Science, graduating in 2012. In 2013, Laura joined the St Ives Veterinary Hospital team. When not at work, Laura enjoys beach holidays, running and spending time with her family.

Farrah Seeto-Loe
Veterinary Practice Manager
Farrah has been at St Ives Veterinary Hospital since 2000. She has completed her veterinary nursing certificate and has also completed a Certificate in Practice Managment. Farrah enjoys horse riding, cooking and quilt making. She owns Boags, a ginger cat she rescued as a stray and Norman, a cheeky Cavoodle.

Elise joined our team in March 2020 and is currently studying Veterinary Science at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga. Elise has always had a passion for animal health, and she continues to work here during her holiday to gain more experience. Elise enjoys spending time with her own dog, chickens and horses.

Kelly joined the team in February 2023. Ever since she was little, she wanted to do something with animals. After growing up in New Zealand and living in the UK for a few years, she became a veterinary receptionist at SASH in Sydney, then four years later at Balmain Vet Hospital. A self-confessed crazy cat person, her passion is helping all pets and their people.

As a veterinary nurse, she is committed to providing the best possible care for every animal in her care. Izzy loves music, playing guitar, and is always eager to spend time outdoors and enjoy a variety of sports. Whether it's hiking, swimming, or playing basketball, she is always up for a challenge.

Caity currently owns three dogs of her own and during her free time coordinates a dog rescue called Fetching Dogs. Caity has gone onto study and specialise in canine physical rehabilitation and is in the process of opening up a rehab clinic on the north shore.
